The music of ClydeSight 2.0!, which was always attrributed to Clyde the cat as the composer, is dearly loved by his fans. When Clyde died in 1997, the gifted poetess, Ariel, sent us this beautiful epitaph.
Omnia Vincit Clyde
Like meteors they blazed across the sky --
Then fell, leaving us shattered, asking "Why"?Mozart, Chopin, Schubert, Shelley, Keats,
Gershwin, Joplin, Hendrix -- Life repeats
Its darkest patterns thus,
And so our light, our Clyde, was torn from us.Yet, in our grief, we know, he is not gone:
His music, love, and joy of life live on.Sublimely gifted, taken in his prime,
His genius, timeless,
Mocks the Theft Of Time.-- Ariel
